沙漠之甍

这首歌是同名电影《当男人爱上女人》的主题曲，也是第33届格莱美的获奖歌曲。著名歌手和歌曲作者迈克尔·波顿用朴实无华的语言，沧桑悲怆的嗓音，把当一个男人爱上一个女人时的深切感受演绎得淋漓尽致，令听者为之动情。

迈克尔·波顿（Michael Bolton），原名迈克尔.波罗丁（Michael Bolotin），生于美国康涅狄格州的纽黑文（New Haven）。1968年，他以本名为艾佩克公司（Epic Records）录制了第一张个人单曲。并且在七十年代后期担任Blackjack乐队的主唱,为宝丽得（Polydor Records）录制的两张专辑销量还是很差。不过波顿的个人专辑《Michael Bolotin，1975》，《Every Day Of My Life，1976》 倒是取得了一定成功。乐队解散后，波顿转向创作，与一家哥伦比亚公司签约成为新的独唱歌手。1983年他正式改名迈克尔．波顿（Michael Bolton），而他也开始了作为一个民谣歌手在八十年代的成功之旅。他的首张专辑《Michael Bolton》在市场上即获得巨大成功。而他与道格.詹姆斯（Doug James）一起为劳拉.白兰尼甘（ Laura Branigan）创作的《没有你我怎能活下去》（How Am I Supposed To Live Without You）更是在Billard Board上居高不下，在1989年他把这首歌收入他的《Soul Provider》专辑中，不但在美国卖出六百万张唱片，他也凭这首歌获得1990年格莱美最佳流行男歌手大奖。到90年代中期时，他的事业达到了顶峰。但《The One Thing》这张专辑却遭到商业上的惨败,不过1995年, 他又以一首《Can I Touch You … There?》重登热门歌曲榜。波顿在90年代后期复出，演出更具歌剧色彩。反响不错的专辑还有《All That Matters》等, 2001年推出专辑《Love Songs》。
